Located in the McPhee Physical Education Center on upper campus, the McPhee Strength and Performance Center is home to 26 barbell training stations, including 23 Olympic weightlifting platforms, dumbbell/kettlebell/resistance band training areas, and resistance machines along with 36 cardiovascular machines.
The MSPC is extremely accessible being open over 105 hours per week, seven days a week. Members are allowed unlimited access to the MSPC during hours of operation. Memberships are available on a semester, academic, calendar and summer basis.
Blugold cards and a valid membership are required. Memberships are available online, at the McPhee Information Desk 207E or the Recreation Office in Hilltop 105.

What services are provided?
Towel service is provided for all members of the MSPC. You can sign out a towel at the front counter and sign the towel out when you are finished with your work out. Towels are not allowed to leave the MSPC.
Can anyone besides a student-athlete work out in the MSPC?
The MSPC is open for all UW-Eau Claire students, faculty and staff along with all students, faculty and staff of Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC). CVTC Students, Faculty, and Staff may purchase semester MSPC memberships after first obtaining an Inter Institutional Agreement Card from the CVTC Cashier's Window.
Where can I sign up for a membership?
You may purchase a MSPC membership online or at the McPhee Information Desk (room 207-E) via cash, personal check or credit card (Master Card & Visa) and Blugold. Information Desk hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:15 pm. All checks should be written out to "UWEC."
