Blugolds assist effort to add 143-year-old bridge to historic register
An effort that started seven years ago in a University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire history class culminated this spring when Eau Claire’s oldest railroad bridge was added to the State Register of Historic Places.

UW-Eau Claire students, faculty collaborate with Wisconsin industry on defense contract
The two-year, $231,709 government subcontract received by Dr. Deidra Gerlach, associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry, is the first of its kind for UW-Eau Claire and is laying the groundwork for more industry contractual projects in the future.
