The safety of our students and faculty is the primary concern in the handing, storage and disposal of chemical substances. Below are safety-related resources. They include the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry's Chemical Hygiene Plan, which describes the standard operating procedures adopted by the department for the safe handling, storage and disposal of chemical substances, along with the standards used for training staff and students in the safe handling of potentially hazardous materials.
